Suddenly but peacefully on Friday, 17th November 2023. Loved partner of Kim. Loved father of Khyra, Brayden, AJ and Zara. Loved Grandfather of Emil. Loved step father to Jade and Daniel, Danny and Aleisha, Jimmy, Sheldon. Loved step grandfather to Mercedes, Lucan, Chase, Isaiah, Josiah, Sativa, the late Indaka, Maddox, Knox, Taimana, Matariki. Friend of Roimata and Sharnie, also their cats Meg, Don and Dongie. Loved son of David and Glenda. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Chris and Jo, Willie and Lisa, Sarah and Caleb. Michael will be resting at home in Bluff from Wednesday, 9 am until 9 am Friday, then he will be at his parent’s home in Mataura until his service on Saturday. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we advise the passing of Gwen at Peacehaven Rest Home on Saturday, 18th November 2023, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ron. Adored and beloved Nan, Olnie and amazing great friend of Doeske, Paul, Blake, and Oliver. Much loved Mum of Lesley* and Jules, Steve, and their families.

SCULLY, Ann Miriam:
Peacefully after a swift but courageous battle at her home on Monday 20 November 2023, in the care of her three daughters and devoted husband; aged 71 years. Dearly loved wife and sweetheart of husband Owen, Loving and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Nicola and Lawrence Shelton, Kirsty and Brent McGearty, and Kimberly Scully. Fun-loving and adored Nana of Damien, and Courtney Shelton and Duncan Ross; Joshua, Flynn, and Piper McGearty; Georgia, Rea and partner Johnny Johnston and their precious new daughter Zoe Lee. Zoe was held in the arms of her Great-Nana at only 24 hours old and Ann was able to enjoy this beautiful blessing before she passed. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the St Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street Invercargill on Thursday 23 November at 1.30pm, interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. A special thanks to the wonderful care given by Southland Hospice and the District Nurses, special mention to Mike and Sara.
