METTAM, Annette Marion:
On August 19, 2024 peacefully at Wellington Hospital with her family at her side, aged 66 years. Loved, respected and cherished soulmate of Paul for 49 years. Loved and adored mother and mother in law of Scott and Anna, and Glen. Loved Gran of Katie, Ben, Tommy, and Brody. Annette will be fondly remembered and loved by her wider family and friends. Special thanks to Catherine Barrow, the staff at Wellington Hospital and Te Omanga Hospice, Lower Hutt for their loving care shown to Annette and family. Annette is the dearly loved youngest daughter of the late Eric and the late Shirley Whitworth, and much loved youngest sister and sister in law of Joy and the late Hamish Brown (Invercargill) and Maree Whitworth (Christchurch), and a much loved aunt of her niece and nephews.
MURRAY, Fergus Hugh (Granpa):
Passed away unexpectedly at Southland Hospital on Monday 19th August 2024. Dearly loved father and father in law of Monique and Brendon, and Leighton and Kylee. Loved and enjoyed Granpa of Carter and Abbie, and Jordis and Reuben. Loved brother and brother in law of Alister and Jocelyn, and a much loved Uncle of Aaron, Rebecca and Haydn. Family sincerely thank the staff of Southland Hospital CCU and Medical team for their care of Fergus. A farewell for Fergus will be held on Friday 23rd August 2024, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Private cremation will follow.
