Victor passed away at Kew Hospital after a short illness surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Marlene for 62 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Kerry and Ross Gamble, Tracey and Robert Luck, and Treena and Barry Stirling. Loved grandad of his nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. FERGUSON, Cecil James:
25/01/1950 – 10/10/2024
Passed away at home with family by his side. Loved husband of Lynley. Loved father and father-in-law of Nigel and Ines, Jody and Justin. Adored Cecil of Leyna, Maja, Jana, Arlo; Tylah, and Carter. McDONALD, Reece Mark:
After an unexpected medical event on Saturday, 12 October 2024, aged 47 years. Dearly loved husband of Jo Sharp and father of Lauren and Cam, and Finlay. Adored Poppa of Sunday, and Stirling. This is such a shock to us, and we would love to extend the invite for everyone to join us to celebrate Reece's life at the Stadium Southland on Thursday, 17th October at 1pm. Left this world while riding his bike at Sandy Point. Much loved son-in-law of the late Amy Sharp, brother-in-law of Trudee Sharp, Steve Galog, Bindi Sharp, Quinton Sharp & Toni-Marie Gibson. Favourite and fun-loving uncle to Johnny & Cael Galog, Hughan Sharp & Charlin Smith, and James Sharp.

Honorary Brother (cousin) of David and Carole, Blair and Tin Hsien, Debra and Tony. Stepbrother to Angela and Colin, Joanne, Stephen and Lucy. Nephew of Reece and Diane Wall, Jan* and Barry* Reeve. Murray and Mary, Joy, and Mitchell McDonald. Will be truly missed.

POOLE, William Arthur (Bill):
Peacefully on 14th October 2024 at Southland Hospital, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Laurita. Much loved brother of Norma Horscroft (Canberra). Loved uncle of Chris and Deborah Horscroft, Alison and Ron Robertson, and Virginia Horscroft and Michael Izzo. Great uncle of Timothy, Leon, Alexander, Ella, Liam and Claire (all of Australia), and brother in law of Elspeth Duurloo (Winton). The family wish to acknowledge and thank the staff at BUPA Ascot for their kindness, care and friendship over the past 3 years. Also the excellent care provided by the Medical Ward at Southland Hospital. A service to remember Bill will be held in the Elles Road Bible Chapel, Cnr Elles Road and Earn St, South Invercargill on Friday 18 October 2024 at 1.30pm followed by an interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Peacefully after a short illness, Doug’s final race was run, at Ascot Bupa on Friday 11 October 2024 in his 91st year. Loved husband of Margaret for the past 67 years. Amazing and loving Dad to Janeen, Alistair, Grant, Murray, and Katrina. Loved father-in-law of David, Simone, Lorraine, Sharron, and Paul. The best Grandad of James, Ben, Nick, David, Dylan, Harvey, Matthew, Campbell, Lachlan, Gregor, Christina, and their partners. Loved great Grandad of Zadie, Emerson, Jimmy, Blake, and Claire. Only son of the late Elles and the late Annie Wood.
