Passed peacefully at Calvary Hospital on Monday 6 March 2023, aged 87. Dearly loved husband of Brenda. Loved father of the late Roger, and Pamela Hood and John Cooper (Australia); grandad of William and Alexa, Dylan and Courtney, George and Laura; and great-grandad of Shilah, Carter, and new baby Mack (all Australia). Loved brother of Ross (deceased) and Fay, Barbara Kennedy, Jan and Alex Holms, and brother-in-law of Faye and Gordy Gibb; uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Clive’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Wednesday 15 March at 2pm followed by private cremation. CARNAHAN, Janet Catherine:
After a short illness at Lakes District Hospital on Thursday 9 March 2023 aged 83 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Russell. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Jenine, Debra and Tony, and Susan and Drew Webster. A much-loved nana to Amanda, Sarah, Alicia and Ricky and great grandmother of Charlie and Archer. It is with heavy hearts that we announce that in the early hours of Wednesday morning the 8th of March, 2023, Valerie quietly slipped away in her sleep, to be with the love of her life, her soulmate, Graeme. Hami will lay at 67 Sinclair Avenue, Nightcaps for anyone to come visit. A service for Hami will be held on Thursday 16th March at 11.00am which will take place at the Ohai Hall, 10 Richmond Street, Ohai. We will lay Hami to rest at the Wairio/Nightcaps Urupa. We welcome everyone to come join us to say your final farewell to Hami and join us at the urupa, followed by the Hakari (kai) at the Nightcaps Hall, 13 Johnston Road, Nightcaps. Loving wife of the late Koha, loved mother and mother-in-law of Candice (Gore), Phyllis and Marcus (Gore), Melanie (Invercargill), Jasmine and Howie (Gore), Dallas and Kat (Whanganui), Karmae and Mia (Gore), and a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother to her mokos. Loved second mother to Karen and Claude. Yvonne will be laying at Hokonui Marae, 11 Hyde Street, Gore, whanau and friends are welcome to come and pay their respects. Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery, followed by light refreshments back at the Hokonui Marae. All are welcome.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday 11 March 2023 in Flemington, Melbourne after a long illness.
