Treasured wife of the late Don, much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Brent, Eualie and Neil Thwaites, Scotty and Kerry, Fleur and Neil Murray, adored Grandma of her 7 grandchildren, and special great-Grandma of her 2 great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Nira* and Paul Jones, Selwyn* Fantham, Rae and Art Loffhagen, and loved Auntie of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Glennis’ life will be held at the Edendale Presbyterian Church, Brydone Street, on Thursday, December 14, at 1.30pm, followed by a cuppa, then an interment at Edendale Cemetery. Passed away in the care of his loving granddaughters Taryn and Melissa at Hospice Southland on Sunday 10 th December, aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Jean Skelton, much loved father of Garry (Skelts). Deeply cherished Grandad of Taryn and Jeff, Melissa and Scott, beloved great grandad of Mason, Hollie and Taine. A special thanks to the doctors and staff at Hospice Southland for their diligence and care. The family have arranged Eugene’s service to be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Friday 15th, December, 2023, at 1.00pm. The service will conclude with a burial at the Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
