Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on June 7, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of Dawn for 63 years. Adored father and father-in-law of Kim (Melbourne) and Anne and Stephen (Bannockburn). Much loved and respected grandfather of Chelsea and Rylan, Thomas and Georgia; (Melbourne), Tim and Emilia (Auckland), Joel and Jessica (Alexandra), and doting great-grandfather of Jude and Henry (Melbourne). A private interment and service for the residents and staff at Ripponburn Home has been held. A celebration of Colin’s life will be held in the Bannockburn Hall, 37 Hall Road, at 1.00pm on Wednesday, June 26. DUCKETT, June:
June died peacefully at home in Winton, on Thursday, June 6, 2024, aged 94 years. Loved and cherished wife of Derek. Adored Mum and mum-in-law of Sheryll and Bob, Geoff and Jill. Nana of Reede and Donna, Luke and Breanna, and great-nana of Jacob (deceased), and Ivy. June was a keen sportswoman who loved a laugh and a bit of fun. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In accordance with June’s wishes, a private family service has been held. Passed away at his home in Waikaia, June 5, 2024, in his 91st year. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret* and Bill* Barrett, Ellen* and Harry* Pumipi, Alex* and Bev* Mairs, Brian* and Joy Mairs, Reta and Barry* Reid, and a much loved Uncle of his nieces and nephews. McLEAN, Mervyn Andrew (Mern) JP:
Passed away peacefully after a short illness on the 9th of June in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Nat, and beloved partner of Karen (Ferg). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Bruce and Pam, Sue and Barry. Robyn, and the late Anthea and Waring. Loved and respected Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Private cremation to be followed by a public Memorial Service to be held at the Te Anau Club, Pop Andrew Drive, at 1.30pm on Friday 14th June. Thank you to the nurses and staff at the Medical Ward for Mern’s care. In lieu of flowers donations to the St John Ambulance, Te Anau would be appreciated.
