Passed away at Dunedin Hospital on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Ted. Precious mother and mother-in-law of Mark, Joe, Kirsty and Anahera. Cherished Nan of Taane, Kairo, Isaac, Summer, Tuhirangi, Shannon, Eruera, Anaru and Great Grandmother of Maia. Dearly Loved Granddaughter of Hari Huiatahi Taitumu, Loved daughter of Teddy Taitumu and loving sister of Anne, Alfred and Rocky. Loved and treasured by the Lucas/Ruka and Taitumu Whānau. Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Monday 10 February 2025; aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of June for a wonderful 62 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Robyn (Christchurch), and Gillian and Scott Smith. Loved and cherished grandad of Kate, and Bradley Stiven (Christchurch), Sophie, and Nina Smith. (Formerly of Te Anau). Peacefully, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Oxford Court Rest Home, Dunedin, aged 78 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert, dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Stephen and Gail, Michael and Annie, Paul and Adele, Irene and Mike, Maggie and Dan. Cherished Grandma of Craig, and Jane; Leah, Noah, and Addison; Mia, and Harry. Loved great-grandma of Jimmy, Harper, Eli, and Laura. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Margaret, John, and the late Patricia, and their respective partners. R.I.P.

Passed away peacefully on 10th February 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Much loved mother of Mykah, and Hunter. Cherished and deeply loved, a bright shining star. Mahalia’s funeral service will be held in the Invercargill Christian Centre, 165 Leet Street, Invercargill on Saturday, 15th February, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation towards expenses would be greatly appreciated.
