Cherished soulmate of Val (nee Marshall), adored Dad of Taia & Krystal, Maxine & Ahipene, Jordan, Trent, Tyrone, Zavier*, Ahorangi & Irirangi, treasured Grandad of Tane, Trey, Arihana, Starr-Zavier, Jiziyn-Rose, Anahera, Brooklyn & Te Ariki Nui. MASON, Peter Athol:
Born in Invercargill in 1944 and latterly of Christchurch has, on April 3, 2023, after a short illness, journeyed on in peace to rejoin parents Lance and Gloria. He has gone ahead of loved children Anthony, Nicholas, and Rachelle; their mother and Peter’s former wife of over 30 years Jenny; doted upon grandson Will, son-in-law Bruce; and younger brother Trevor. Journeying on ahead should give Peter a chance to ensure the accommodations are up to his standards. Loved wife of the late Vincent (Vince) Snodgrass. Loved wife of the late Robert (Bob) McKnight and loved mother of their children – Donna Knight and Jimmy Robinson (Australia), Peter and Janet McKnight, Ian McKnight (Tasmania), Trish Henderson, Yvonne and Steven Watt. Friend to Allan Henderson, Lynn Ker, Brian Dunick and Neil Grindlay. Dearly loved sister of Joan Leonard and her late brothers and sisters and brother in laws and sister in laws.
