CALDWELL, Trevor Gordon:
With heavy hearts, we farewell Trev who passed away peacefully, just shy of his 75th birthday, on Saturday 5th April 2025, after a brave battle surrounded by love. Devoted husband to Linda, incredible Dad to James and Amanda, Tim and Brenda. The proudest "TC" to Ritchie, Ashton, Sienna, Ollie, and Finn. Treasured step-son of Les Carroll, loved brother to Annie and Franco Darioli (Australia). A celebration of Trev's life will be held at the Salvation Army, Winton, at 1.00pm on Thursday 10th April followed by refreshments, yarns and memories at Midlands Clubrooms. COLVIN, Ivan George:
Unexpectedly, on Monday, 7th April 2025 at Southland Hospital, with his loving family by his side, aged 86 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Vicky and Brad Davis, Stephen, Cheryl Cross and Blair, Janet, and Kaylene and Michael Duggan. Much loved Grandad and Great Grandad of all his Grandchildren. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of his extended family. Friend of the late Marjory. A service to celebrate Ivan’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Wednesday, 9th April at 2pm. The service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. 1934 - 2025
Peacefully at home on Sunday 6th April 2025, with her family by her side; aged 90 years. Loving wife of Norman* (Nick). Much loved and adored mother of Maxine Brown, Erica and John Hook, Evie and Neal Godden, Joseph, Carol*, and Shaun. Nana Nu to all her precious grand, great and great great grandchildren. Sister to all her siblings. To quote Nana herself, “I'm well loved.." A service to celebrate Nana Nu’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Thursday 10 th April at 11.00am. RIKA, James (Jim):
12 February 1942 – 5 April 2025
Jim passed away peacefully at home after an extended illness. Dearly loved husband of the late Isobel*, loved father of the late Anthony*, Aaron, and Glen. A much loved brother, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle and friend.

WOOD, Illona Maree (nee Blomfield):
Courageously after a short illness Illona passed away at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by her family on Wednesday 2nd April 2025, aged 55 years. Dearly loved and precious daughter of Alison and the late Philip (Phil) Blomfield. Loved, cherished and precious mum and friend of her daughters Samantha and Zoe. Treasured and loved sister of Michael and Marlys, Gregg and Alison, and Lisa and Frank Dawson. Loved Partner of Kelly Baggott. Much loved Aunty of her Nieces and Nephews, Brandon, Nathan, Michael, Samuel, Leah, Timothy and Claudia. Loved friend to many. Mum was the best mother to us. She showed us kindness, strength and was a devoted Mother above all else. We thank her for bringing us into adulthood and raising us to be the women we are. We sincerely thank the staff of Ward 8B for their dedication, care and compassion for our Mumma. A Memorial service for Mum will be held on her birthday Tuesday , 15th April 2025, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill.
