Unexpectedly, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, aged 65 years. Jock is the loved son of Mick and Norma. Loved and devoted partner of Karen, cherished father and father-in-law of Emma and Andrew (Canterbury), Tracy and Dan Thomas (Dunedin), Patrick and Britt (Invercargill), admired step-Dad of Jane, Ryan and Sam, and adored Grandad Jock of Amelie, Henry and Fletcher; Pippa, Layla and Chloe; Kacey and Jayde. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Michael*, Jewel and Graham* McAtamney, Bruce and Barbara, and a much loved Uncle of his nieces, great-nieces and nephew. A celebration of Jock’s life will be held in the Upper Clutha Rugby Club, 15 McDougall Street, Wanaka, on Friday, August 9, at 1.30pm, followed by a private family burial. Peacefully, after a four year battle with cancer, on Saturday, August, 3, 2024, aged 63 years. HUNT, Kevin Patrick (Ace):
Peacefully at home on Saturday 3rd August 2024 aged 74 years. Loved son of *Patrick and *Margaret. Loved brother and brother in law of Peter and Linda, Raymond and *Neville and Minney, loved uncle of Paula, Mel, Kimily, Ben and Nick and their families. KELLY, John:
Peacefully, on Saturday, August 3, 2024, with his loving family by his side, aged 86 years young. Most cherished husband and best friend of Verona (Miss Favel), deeply loved father and father-in-law of Amanda and Robin Swain (Knapdale), Shayne and Justine (Otama), and adored Grandad and Pauly of Hollie, Casey, Lucy; Georgia, Katie, Adam and Jack. Son of the late John and Frances Kelly, loved and respected brother and brother-in-law, and uncle to all his nieces and nephews. ‘RIP’ Requiem Mass to celebrate Paul’s life will be held in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Wednesday, August 7, at 10.30am followed by light refreshments and private interment. NORMAN, Colleen:
We sadly announce the sudden passing of Colleen, aged 71 years, on Thursday, August 1, 2024 after a courageous battle following illness at Southland Hospital, Invercargill. Beloved wife of Forrester Norman. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Christopher and Christy, Matthew and Anthony, Philip and Eve, Margot, and Alison and Craig. Loving grandmother (Nana) to Tilly, Jonty, Indiana, and Madison. Her siblings and in-laws will deeply miss her: Danny and Anne Young, Margaret and Bernie Brown, Bruce and Rosemary Young, and Ashley Cummings. She was a treasured aunt to her nephews and nieces Antoinette, Paul, Louise, Dominic, Luke, Hannah, Laura, Amy, Olivia, and Tere.
She had many special friendships through nursing, the Catholic Church, and school, and was loved by all.

REYNOLDS, Allan Wallace:
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Bupa Ascot on Friday 2nd August 2024. In his 80th year. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Pamela for the last 60 years. Treasured father and father-in-law of Diane and Norman Pierce, Sharon and Doug Arthur, Paul and Desiree, David and Kym, and Maree. Best Grandad and Poppy ever of his 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Loved son of Joyce* and Reginald* Reynolds and Maitland* Downes. Loved son-in-law of Patricia* and Herbert* Orr. Special brother of Diane, and a dearly loved brother and brother in-law. A special uncle, cousin and friend to many. Heartfelt thanks to Bupa Ascot and Clare House for their care of Allan. A service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held at The Invercargill Workingmens Club, 154 Esk Street, Invercargill, at 1.30pm, on Thursday, August 8. PROVINCIAL CONTRACTING LTD
The origins of Provincial Contracting Ltd began when Allan Reynolds and two partners took over an existing drainage and excavation company of the same name, in 1984. The two partners have since left the company, leaving Allan and his wife Pam, as directors. Allan Reynolds is the Managing Director of the Company and has been involved in the construction, drainage and excavation field for 50 years.
