Passed away in the loving care of his family at Southland Hospital, on Sunday March 3, 2024. Loved husband of Joan for 67 1/2 years. Son of William* and Gladys* Keith. Brother to Betty. Much loved father and father-in-law of Wayne* and Angela, Lynette (Lyn) and Evan, Roanna, Nicola (Nicky) and Don, Margaret, Brent and Sharon. Adored Grandad to Jamie, Jenna, Courtney, Tyler, Hannah, Gregory, and their partners. Much treasured Great Grandad/Poppa to Zachary, Sophie, Liam, Charlotte, Jackson, Joseph, Riley, and Willow. A service to Celebrate Lex’s life will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 10.00am in the Gore RSA Function Centre, 3 Bowler Ave, Gore, followed by a private family burial at the Eastern Cemetery. MARSHALL, Ronald James (Jim):
Peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday 2 March 2024; aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Edie. Devoted Dad and father-in-law of Julie and Neville Kennedy, Fay and Nelson List and Ali, Joy and Graeme Tait, Peter and Kirstie. Dearest Grandad to Melanie, Jason, Jamie, Rachel, Michelle, Blair, Karl, Stacey, Alana, Steven, Megan, Daniel and their partners. Loved Grandad Marshall to his many,many great-grandchildren. Jim’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Salisbury Wing, Rowena Jackson for their care of Jim. A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday 8 March at 11.00am. The service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1st 2024, surrounded by his family. Loved Son of John and Eliza, Much Loved Partner and Best friend to Shona, Loved Dad of Nicholas, Carmen, Leroy, Zana, and Luke. Loved Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle to all of his family. Loved friend to many, Colin will be resting at Nga Hau E Wha Marae, 193 Conon Street, Invercargill, until his service.
