Peacefully, at Wakatipu Care Home, on Monday, September 2, 2024, in her 91st year. Dearly loved wife of Neil, loved mother and mother-in-law of Avril, Chris and Barbara, Julie and Mark, wonderful Nana of Wade and Jacinta, Shannon and Jasmin, James, and Molly; Martin, and Annaliese; Jozac and Melissa, Marcus and Fanny, Joel and Laura; and loved great-Nana to all her great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of John* and Leonie, Graeme* and Christine, Gwenda and Neville, and a much loved Auntie. A memorial service to celebrate Maggie’s life will be held in City Impact Church, Hansen Road, Frankton, on Saturday, September 7, at 1.00pm. CULLING, Joanne (Jo) (née Blair):
Peacefully at Southland Hospital with her loving family by her side on Friday, 30th August 2024, aged 64 years. Dearly loved daughter of Rob and Raebell Blair. Dearly loved wife of Shaun. Adored Mum of Tina, Kurt and Kelly and loved Grandma of Danielle, Haylen, Cruz, Zayden, and Kyla. Beloved cousin of Scotty. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Shirley and Neville, Kevin and Diane, and Bronwyn*. Loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Jo will be resting at her home, 118 Mavora Court, Invercargill until her service in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, 4th September at 2:00pm. The service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service. DENNISON, Florence Vivien Elizabeth (nee Erskine):
Peacefully at Peacehaven Village, formerly of Papatotara, on Friday 30 August 2024, aged 89 years. Loved wife of the late John FS Dennison, dearly loved mother of the late John (JD) Dennison and mother-in-law of Janferie Dennison-Begley. Proud grandmother of Jonathan and Melissa (Gore) and Timothy and Megan (Christchurch), great grandmother of Millie and Oakley. Special friend to Graeme Begley. Loved member of her Dennison and Erskine families. A service to celebrate Florence’s life will be held at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Wednesday 4 September at 10am followed by interment at Tuatapere Cemetery at 1:30pm. Suddenly passed away, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 31st August, aged 68 years in the warmth of her hometown Bluff. Dearly loved wife of Hassan Manikhy, Loving Daughter of Kenneth Lane Shelton, Kathleen June Shelton, Doreen Jane Shelton. Beloved Daughter and Sister-in-Law and Aunty to many in Iran. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Dennis, Butch*, Cheryl, Belinda, Lawrence & Nicola, Timothy, Anneka & Kevin. Adored mum and mother-in- Law of Michael & Red, Aimee & Jason, Nicholas & Renee, Jordan & Jo, Pasha, Soheilla & Giuseppe, Sarra & Adam, Liz, Channoeun. Loved Nannette of Caelan, Riley, Audio, Cushla, Willow, Poppy, Ameilia, Hunter, Sahara, Zakira, Soraya, Zarlo, Zaiah and Rufus the dog. Loved Aunty to many nieces and nephews.
