On October 28, 2023, at Clutha Health First, after a determined battle with cancer, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Loved husband of Deidre, father and stepfather of Mark and Lee, Sarah and John, granddad to Elsie, brother and brother-in-law to Margaret and Rob, Anne and Colin, Alister (Australia). Loved uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Loved friend to many. A service to celebrate Crooksy’s life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, in Leishman’s Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, at 1.30pm. The family request, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice and these can be left at the service. The service will be livestreamed, and the link will be available on Leishman Funerals website. At Southland Hospital on Saturday, 28th October 2023, aged 69 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ian. Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Brent, and Kerry, and Becky and Allister Gauldie. Dearly loved Nana of Sam and Jane, Ben, Mason, Liana, Hamish, Alyssa and Granny to Christian, and Charleigh. Loved sister and sister-in-law of David* and Lynette Erdman, Peter* Erdman, Bruce Erdman, Les* and Ngaire* Sparrow, Karen and Lawrence* Erdman, Bill, Ronald, Keith, and Marlene and loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Ruth Fryer. A loved Aunt of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Gaynor’s life will be held in the Elles Road Bible Chapel, 158 Elles Road, Invercargill on Thursday, 2nd November at 11:00 am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery.
