DIXON, Gillian Joyce (Gill):
Peacefully passed away on 28 October 2024, aged 78 years. Loving wife of the late Kenny Dixon. Cherished daughter of the late Doris and Peter Mallon. Beloved mother and mother in-law of Andrew and Vicky, Gareth and Jenna, and Matt. Adored nana of Emma, Ryan, Jack, James, Blake, Zoe, and Ben. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Fran and John Baird, Lesley and Mike Ford, the late Steve Mallon, Paul and the late Lyn Mallon, Barbara Mallon and Charlie Palmer. A special and precious friend of Kenny's family and numerous others.

Peacefully at Ribbonwood Country Home, Tapanui, on Saturday October 26, 2024. Dearly loved wife of the late John Murray. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Elizabeth Marshall, David Murray, Judith and Trevor Kelly, and Carolyn Murray. Dearly loved Gran of Phoenix, David and Jenn; Anna and Oly, Melissa and Scott; Alex, Laura, and Andrew. Loved great gran of Caitlin, Ted, Lucy, James, and Emily. The service for Betty will be held on Wednesday October 30, 2024, at 10.30 am, at the Tapanui RSA, 51 Northumberland Street, Tapanui. RODGERS, Christine Louise (nee Campbell):
It is with much sadness we advise Christine passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Hospice Southland after a brave and courageous battle with MND, aged 57. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Bruce. Much loved and amazing Mum of Josh and Courtney. Loved daughter of Niall* and Joy* and daughter-in-law of Bill* and Joan* Rodgers. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Anne and Ross Taylor, Jamie* and Sandra* Campbell, Kathryn Campbell, Helen and Don Thompson, Lynette and Michael* McLees. A much-loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Hospice Southland for their care and support.
A service to celebrate Christine's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Friday, 1 November at 1:30pm followed by private cremation.

TAIT, Malcolm Thomas (Mick):
Peacefully in the care of Hospice Southland on Saturday, 26 October 2024, aged 83 years. Much loved husband of Aylene. Loved father and father-in-law of Geoff and Zoe (Australia), and Jeremy. Adored grandad of Paris, Madison, Dylan, and Kadyn. A strong battler who has fought the storm and has sailed into the blue horizon. A service to celebrate Mick’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, 30 October at 1.30pm.
