Late of Dipton, passed away peacefully at Vickery Court on the 27th of August 2023,aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of Alison. Of Alexandra. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rod on August 26, 2023, at Dunstan Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Diane, adored father and father-in-law of Douglas and Lisa and the late Phillip, cherished son of the late Don and Celia, brother and brother-in-law of Ruth and Gary. Peacefully on Saturday 26 August 2023. Beloved son of Heni* and Dan* Rangi. Husband of Kora Karetai, cherished father of Norman, Rewi, Daniel, Kimi-Ora, Chonnie and Willow*. Loved by all of his mokopuna, and the Rangi, Karetai and extended whanau. Norman is currently resting at 156 Elizabeth Street. Norman will be moved to Nga Hau E Wha Marae at 11.00am on Wednesday 30th August. Whanau invite friends and family to say their farewells. A service will be held for Norman at Nga Hau E Wha Marae, Conon Street Invercargill on Thursday 31st August at 11.30am. A private cremation will follow.

SHEPHERD, Josephine:
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our Mum on Friday, August 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Loved wife of the late Paul. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Greg, Johann and Andrew Forde, Paula and Ben Fox. A loved Nana of Sawyer; James and Caitlin; and grand pup of Poppy. Will be sadly missed. R.I.P. We would kindly like to thank all the staff at Walmsley House and latterly at Rowena Jackson for their care, compassion and love they gave Mum. A Requiem Mass for Josephine will be held in St. Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, August 31 at 11.30am, followed by a private cremation.
