Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday 23 May 2024. Aged 72 years. Very much loved husband of Anne. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Mark and Maureen, and Deborah. Unexpectedly, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in her 50th year. Dearly loved wife of David (Tapanui), much loved mother of Tony, Tash, and Sandra, loved daughter of Barry and Joy Thomas (Tapanui), loved daughter-in-law of Lorraine and the late George Horrell, sister of Shane, and Craig.

KIRKER, Lindsay Raymond: (of Cromel Farms, Five Rivers)
Early evening on May 23, 2024, passing on his terms peacefully, but quickly after a long battle. Lindsay finally gets the decent sleep he wanted with daughter Jodi and his three grandsons by his side, Clint and Katt just moments away at Southland Hospital. Much loved and cherished husband of Pauline* for 45 years lasting a little over a year without her. Beyond treasured Pa of Jodi and Clint & Katt and ‘hi five’ Granddad of Ashton, Dane and Trent. Loved son of Hector* and Gladys*, brother of Eric, Mavis, Graham and Janice. Brother in law to many on both sides. Uncle to his nieces and nephews and extended family. Good friend to Joesph and Hillary. Special thanks to Haidee and her team from Hospice, St John staff and Southland Hospital staff. Finally able to breathe easy again. Peacefully at Rowena Jackson on Saturday 25 May 2024 in his 90th year. Dealy loved husband of Daphne for 65 years. Much loved Dad and father-in-law of Vicki and Ross Keen, and Lindsay. Granpa to Bridgett and Ross, Natasha and Bevan, Melissa, Kristen, and Kimberley; Great-Grandpa to Kate and Lucy, Riley and Flynn, Tyler and Brooklyn. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Fraser and Heather, Hec and Robin*, and friend of Eleanor. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. The family are very grateful to the staff of Rowena Jackson for their care and compassion to Bill.
