CRAYSTON, Richard:
Bernie died at Ribbonwood Country Home, Tapanui, on Sunday, March 24, 2024, aged 77 years. A loved husband, father and grandfather of Jan, Kevin, and Charlotte. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at West Otago Medical Centre and Ribbonwood Country Home for their support and care of Bernie.

GIBSON, Douglas:
Doug passed away at home on Friday, March 15, 2024 with his family by his side. Loved husband of Maureen, loved father of Bruce, and Scott, loved Pop of Josh and Maisie, Emma and Robin, Sam, and William, great Pop of Bodhi, Teddy, and a dear friend of Denise. Loved brother-in-law of June and John Ngatai, and Euan and Kay Dickson. In accordance with Doug’s wishes a private cremation has been held. Sincere apologies for not being advertised in Saturday’s papers. HEBBEND, Joanne:
Passed away peacefully, at Lakes District Hospital, Frankton, on March 23, 2024, aged 63 years. Dearly loved wife of Stephen, loved mother of Alicia, Rachel and Brendan, and cherished Jojo of Toby Hebbend-Wilson. Loved daughter of Mona and the late Percy Robertson and loved sister of Susan Swain. In accordance with Joanne’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Joanne’s life will be held in Remarkables Primary School, 49 Lake Avenue, Frankton, Queenstown, on Saturday,

McRAE, Barbara:
At home, on Friday, March 22, 2024, aged 91 years. Gone to be with Bud, and her beloved Pat. Loved Mum and mother-in-law of *Pat, Ellyn (Oamaru), Liz and Mac (Wellington), and loved Nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of *Gwen and *Rangi TeTau, Shirley and *Ross Davies (Hastings), Jan Love and Wayne Ranga (Melbourne), and loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews. A service will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Tuesday, March 26, at 2.00pm, with a cuppa to follow, before leaving for the interment at Charlton Park. Donations may be left at service for Hospice Southland. Barbara loved her many friends, and the town of Gore, not forgetting the many dogs and goats, that benefited from her lolly bag on her postie run. A huge thank you to Biddy, who has been amazing over the years. Thank you to all the fabulous staff at Hospice Southland, Gore Medical Centre, La Hoods Pharmacy, and RDNS, who made Barbara’s last week’s comfortable. Messages to 36a Eccles Street, Gore 9710.
