Peacefully after a swift but courageous battle at her home on Monday 20 November 2023, in the care of her three daughters and devoted husband; aged 71 years. Dearly loved wife and sweetheart of husband Owen, Loving and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Nicola and Lawrence Shelton, Kirsty and Brent McGearty, and Kimberly Scully. Fun-loving and adored Nana of Damien, and Courtney Shelton and Duncan Ross; Joshua, Flynn, and Piper McGearty; Georgia, Rea and partner Johnny Johnston and their precious new daughter Zoe Lee. Zoe was held in the arms of her Great-Nana at only 24 hours old and Ann was able to enjoy this beautiful blessing before she passed. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the St Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street Invercargill on Thursday 23 November at 1.30pm, interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. A special thanks to the wonderful care given by Southland Hospice and the District Nurses, special mention to Mike and Sara.
