Passed away suddenly at home on 14 February aged 84 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of David and Pauline Bowman, Karen, and Wayne. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jocelyn, Ken and Lynne. Loved Poppa of David Jnr and Kiera. Loved son of the late Geraldine and Charles Bowman. Good mate of the late Harry. A special friend of Susan.

Peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Ribbonwood Country Home, Tapanui; aged 91 years. Loved wife of the late Bill, loved mother and mother-in-law of Arnie and Susan (Dunedin), Marrieanne and John Whyte (Ranigiora), Eric (Tapanui), and Jacqui (Nightcaps), loved Grandma of Johann, and Caillen; Sara; Daniel, and Nina; and great-Grandma of Blake, Abby, Finn, and Aria. On Friday, 16 February 2024. Loved husband of the late Nancy. Loved Pa of Janet and Bob, Margaret and Brian, John and Dianne, and all their families. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox St, Invercargill on Wednesday 21 February 2024, at 10.30am. PLATO, Phillip Mason, (Baldog):
25/11/1957 ~ 15/2/2024
Phil passed peacefully at his home in Riverton after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Dearly loved son of the late Ivan and Olive. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Barbara and Greg Wilson, Lex and Trudy, Stacey and Barry Johnston; father of John, Lisa, and Mark, and grandfather of eight. Loved by his neices and nephews. We will gather to farewell Phil in the Riverton RSA, 141 Palmerston Street, Riverton on Friday 23 February at 1:30pm followed by interment at Riverton Cemetery.
