DUFF, Ruby Isobel (Rabbidge) nee Martin:
Ruby passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Bupa Ascot Care Home, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bert Duff and the late Tom Rabbidge. Loved mother, step-mother and mother-in-law of Martin and Valerie Rabbidge, Gordon and Julie Rabbidge, Lynley and Lindsay Rhind, *Helen Maxwell, Lyndsay Maxwell and Julie Munro, Alan and Val Duff, Ronald and Sandra Duff, Lynley and David Stevens, *Jan Duff, Robyn and Marko Celebi. Much loved grandmother and great- grandmother of her 24 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of *Ron and *Shona Martin, *Peter and *Heather Martin, *Alan and *Hillary Martin, Neil and Judy Martin, Ted and Miriam Martin. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Special friend of Jackie and Ivan Coster. A service to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held in the Ascot Park Hotel, Racecourse Road, Invercargill on Thursday, March 21 at 10.30am. Interment at the Edendale Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated and can be left at the service. WATSON, John Benjamin of Invercargill:
Passed suddenly but peacefully at Southland Hospital on Friday, 15th March 2024, aged 83 years. Beloved father of Andrew, Rochelle and Russell. Son of the late John and Doris Watson, brother of Tiger (Ohai), Dick and Rachel (Glenorchy), Isabel and Colin Bond (Oamaru), Liz and Jim Clark (Oamaru) and the late Stewart and Frank. Grandfather to Kirsty, Shanelle, Joshua, Faith, and Ava. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Wednesday, 20th March at 1:00pm.
