After a courageous battle on Friday 10th January at hospice surrounded by her family. Loved & devoted wife of the late Keith. Devoted Mum & Nana to Troy; Tash & Ben; Eva & Austin; Keira, Payton, Ryder & Xavier, Loved daughter of *Drina & *Bill Barker, and daughter in law of *Till & Eric Jukes, Loved sister & sister-in-law of Carol & Ray Watson, Kay & *Paul Galvin, Sandra & Alan Johnston, Sue & John Hishon, Vonnise & Jimmy Shirley Loved Aunty and Great Aunty to all of her nieces and nephews. As per Gail’s wishes a private cremation has been held. We invite everyone that wants to come and join us on Saturday 18 Jan From 1pm at Gail’s place to share stories. Bring a drink and a chair. We would like to thank Hospice Southland, Matthew and the team at Lumsden Medical Centre, the district nurses, Kath from RDNS, St Johns and everyone else that has helped Gail on this Journey. LEITCH, Arita:
Peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in the loving care of Windsor Park Care Home, Gore, in her 82nd year. Loving Mum and mother-in-law of Gordon and Vanessa (Perth), the late Alison, Narene and Brett Lucas (Invercargill), Craig and Wendy (Gore), Warren and Damelza (Invercargill). A much loved Nana / Nannie of Finlay; Anna, Sophie, and Quinn; Joshua, Holly, and Lara. Former wife of Bruce (Timaru). In accordance with Arita's wishes, a private family service will be held.
