Died at Southcare Resthome and Hospital, Dunedin on Friday, 8th of September 2023. Dearly loved son of Nola and the late Ted. Loved brother of Mark (Auckland), Louise and Greg Olsen (Wellington), Justine (Dunedin), Adrienne and Logan Smith (Whanganui). Cherished uncle of Monique, Timothy and Reuben Smith. Loved nephew of Barby* and Charlie* Giles, Barry and Judy Guthrie, Kathleen and Russell Scott, Tom and Roz Cavanagh, and Frances Law and loved by his many cousins. Dearly loved and respected dad and father-in-law of Pam and Ray Wilkins, Karen and Graeme Brown, Jan and Andrew Manson, Peter and Lee-Anne Cooper. COURNANE, John Boyd:
On September 8th 2023, in the care of the amazing Calvary Team, from which he had recently retired, John passed away surrounded by love. So dearly loved by his Partner Lou and his late wife Janeece. Dearly loved and treasured father, father in law, stepfather and friend of Leisa and Guy, Richard and Julie, Maria and Shane, Teri, and Nicole and Brent. Fun, supportive and much loved Grandad of Mac and AJ; Georgia, Harry and Maggie; Kaius and Mason; Paige and Allie; and little Archie. A service for John will be held at St Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday September 13th at 1pm, to be followed by a private cremation. John will be lying at our home, 84 Margaret Street until his funeral. After a short tragic illness, John passed away surrounded by the love of his family and our Calvary friends. HILL, Graeme Richard:
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Graeme Richard Hill on Saturday the 9th of September 2023 aged 82 years. Graeme is the dearly loved husband of Rowena and Father of Suzanne (deceased), Andrea, and Miranda. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Shane and Tracey, Hayden and Sara, Charmaine, Kaysee and Marcus, and Brittany and his great grandchildren Brooklyn, Willow, Lachie, Sienna, Reed, Harlow, Briar, Erica and Jett. Graeme was a much loved brother of Shirley Sellars. A service for Graeme will be held at the Lake Hayes Pavilion Arrowtown at 1:00pm Saturday the 16th of September 2023.Followed by a private family interment. In lieu of flowers donations to the Queenstown Hospice and Queenstown District Nurses would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
