Peacefully at home on Friday 31 May 2024; aged 75 years. Dearly loved, treasured, and respected wife of Gus, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry* and Robyn, Rachel, Carol and Nigel, Grant and Jane, loved and adored Gran of Dayna, Ruby, James, Casey, Carlos, Tommy, Billie, Isabella, and Zach. A loved sister, aunty, and friend. A service to celebrate Peggy’s life will be held in the Riverton R.S.A, 141 Palmerston Street Riverton on Friday 7 June at 1.00pm, interment to follow at the Riverton Cemetery. McLEAN, Lewis Fredrick:
29 July 1942 – 3 June 2024. 81 years old. Passed peacefully at Resthaven, Gore. Much loved husband of 60 years to Sandra McLean. Beloved father, father-in-law and ‘Pa Lou’ to Shane and Nicola, Jethro and Pihla, Emily, Sophie, and Boston; Debbie and Brent; Darryl and Michelle, Braden and Christine, Tahlia and Nick, Brody, and Kiah; Christopher; Rebecca and Craig, George, and Henry; Cory. Loved only child of the late Emily and Arthur McLean and brother-in-law to Annabelle, John, Gail, and Steven. (*denotes deceased) Many thanks to Resthaven staff for their care of Lewis. SINCLAIR, Anne:
On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, surrounded by family, aged 80 years. Soulmate and beloved wife of Donald (Don) of 52 years, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Kirsty, Meg and Dean, and Fiona and Vini, adored Nanna of her beloved granddaughter Waiora. A special thank you to the staff at Golden View Care Home and Dunstan hospital for their exceptional care given to Anne. A private cremation has taken place. A celebration of Anne’s life will be held on Saturday, June 8 at 2.00pm, in the Golden View Lodge, Kanuka Drive, Cromwell. No parking on site. Please feel free to dress in bright colours.
