Peacefully passed away on 3.1.2023 at home. Loved husband of the late Evelyn. Loved father and father-in-law of Margaret and Earl Drake, Graeme and Sue Carran, Allan and Pare Carran, Poss and Nat Carran, Jane and Kerrin Jackson, and a special friend of Tub. Loved Grandad and friend of Jeremy and Shaz, Kieran and Shari, Gareth and Gina Drake; Angel Jonty, Charlie and Libby Carran; Chance and Katie, Sheyla and Jerico; Harry and Abbey Carran, Britney and Ben, and Nicole Jackson. THOMPSON, Marlene Patricia (nee Brocket):
Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Southland Hospital, aged 81 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ken, adored mother and mother-in-law of Deborah and Alistair Price, Mark and Pauline and the late Tony, much loved Nana of Olivia, Alice, Angela, Scott, Aimiee and their partners, and a loved great-Nana to her 9 great-grandchildren. Marlene’s family would like to invite friends and family to an informal celebration of Marlene’s life, at the West Otago Community Centre, on Saturday, January 7, at 1.00pm.
