Passed away peacefully on Monday 20th January 2025, aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Stan. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Murray and Miriam, Garry and Kathy, Brian and Jane. Loved Nana of her nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Zena’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Crn Esk and Doon Street’s Invercargill, on Thursday 23 January at 2pm. Followed by private cremation. WATSON, Bernard Lawrence:
Peacefully on Sunday 19 January 2025 at Rowena Jackson Rest Home; aged 81 years. Dearly loved son of Ellice* and Bob* Watson. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Eleanor* and Owen* Hillas, Anne* and Daniel* Phillips, John* and Glenda* Watson, and Marion and John* Soundy. A much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of Rowena Jackson O'Byrne Wing for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Bernie during the latter years of his life. A service to celebrate Bernard’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Friday 24 January at 10.00am, interment to follow at the Orepuki Cemetery at approximately 1pm.
