HOLLAND, Nellie Florance (nee Cathcart):
Passed away peacefully surrounded by love, at Clare House on Monday 19 February 2024. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Tracey and Tony Johnston, Patrice, Nat and Rebecca. Much loved Nana of Katie, Alisha, Ruby and Levi. Nellie was a loved sister, sister in law and Aunty. Donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at Nellie’s service. A farewell for Nellie will be held on Monday 26th February 2024, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. A private cremation will follow. McKENZIE, Morell William (Old Poppy):
Peacefully, surrounded by his family in the loving care of Calvary on Monday, February 19, 2024. Aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Eileen. Loved father and father-in-law of Bede and Paula, Paul and Joyce, John and Liz, Mark and Julie, Jane and Heather, James and Jacqui, Donna and Paul McRae. A loved and respected Pop and Old Pop. Is fondly remembered by the Grace, Hutton, Forde, Lavelle, Stone, and Gullick families and a special Dad of Kathy Rath (South Africa). Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Road, Invercargill on Friday February 23 at 11.00am. Interment at the Eastern Cemetery to follow. Rosary will be held at Calvary on Thursday, February 22 at 6.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southland Charity Hospital would be appreciated.
