It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack in Invercargill on Tuesday, 17 th January 2023, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joan for 59 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Robyn and Ken Blatch (Riversdale), Andy Borland and Gina Dellabarca (Christchurch), and the late John Borland. Dearly loved grandfather of Philip and Katie Blatch, Haydn and Kelly-Anne Blatch, Robert and Paige Blatch, Lyndal and Kieran Bootten and John, and Sam Borland. Loved great grandfather of Lachlan, the late Harrison, Noah, Chloe, Jimmy, Ollie, Meads, Willa, and Raffie. The funeral service for Jack will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday, 20 th January at 1.30pm. WILLEMS, Antonius Jacobus (Tony):
Peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, after a medical event, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Anita for 62 years, much loved father of David*, Roy*, Mark, and Suzanne, much loved Opa of Jamie, Malissa, Rico; Mitchell, Joshua; Sophie and his great-grandchildren. Much loved by the Willems Family in Holland and much loved brother-in-law of Keith and Phylis Hughson. A service to celebrate Tony’s life will be held in St Mungoe’s Presbyterian Union Church, 60 Sunderland Street, Clyde, on Monday, January 23, at 1.30pm, private cremation to follow. The family wish to thank the team at Dunstan Hospital and St John Ambulance for their wonderful care of Tony and ask that a donation may be made to St John Ambulance, in lieu of flowers.
