Peacefully at home on Wednesday, 13th September 2023 with his loving family by his side. Loved husband of the late Janice, dearly loved Father and Father-in-law of Alastair & Lisa, and Sheryl & Andrew Stark. Loved Grandad Bruce of Cameron, Hannah. Emma, Nicole, Adele, and Hayley. A loved brother and brother-in-law of Stuart* and Lil, Peter, Judith and Brian*, Ron* and Dawn, Peter and Thelma, Gay and Roger and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Died at South Care Rest Home and Hospital, Dunedin on Friday, September 8th, 2023. Aged 55 years. Dearly loved son of Nola and Ted*, loved brother and brother-in-law of Mark (Auckland), Louise and Greg Olsen (Wellington), Justine (Dunedin), Adrienne and Logan Smith (Whanganui), cherished uncle of Monique, Timothy and Reuben Smith, loved nephew of Barby* and Charlie* Giles, Barry and Judy Guthrie, Russell and Kathleen Scott, Marie and Barry* Hanson, Tom and Roz Cavanagh, and Frances Law and loved by his many cousins. Loved grandson of Ivan* and Irene* Guthrie, and Frank* and Madge* Cavanagh.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Shaun’s life will be held at St Theresa’s Church, Perth Street, Invercargill on Monday, September 18th, at 1.30pm. Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Tuesday 12th September 2023. Loved wife of the late Graham, a loved sister, sister-in-law and aunty of past and present family. A farewell will be held for Shirley in the Avenal Park Lounge, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Friday 15th September at 10.30am. Private interment to follow. A special thanks to Helen, Dee, and Mary for their friendship and support, and to the staff at Southland Hospital Surgical Ward.

Passed away suddenly, surrounded by her three sons, at Southland Hospital on Tuesday 12th September 2023, aged 86 years. Loved wife and best friend of the late Gerry. Loved and respected mother and mother in law of Peter and Jenny (Whanganui), David and Pui Mun (Wanaka), and Stephen (Dunedin). Loved Grandma of William and Francesca, Hugh, Amber and Miro’.
