Passed peacefully at Rowena Jackson on Sunday, October 6, 2024. In her 87th year. Beloved wife to the late David, for 37 years. Dearest mother to Andrew, Timothy and Jonathan, Cherished grandmother of Rory, Brianna, Angus, Anja, Sally, Ella and Lucy. Remembered by all those who dealt with her at Waverley Kindergarten. Special thanks to the staff of Rowena Jackson who have cared for her with compassion. A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held at the Southland Crematorium, Rockdale Road on Friday, October 11 at 1.00pm. MURDOCH, Dorothy Joyce:
Peacefully in the care of Rose Lodge Rest Home on Monday, 7 October 2024, aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Stephen. Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Tony and Jo, Peter and Roz, Ricky and Christine, and Michael. Adored Grand and Great Grandmother of all the grandchildren. A service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Friday 11 October at 2.00pm. The service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Asthma and Respiratory Foundation would be appreciated and maybe left at the service. Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Southland Hospital, Invercargill on Saturday 5 October 2024. In her 91st year. Most precious wife of the late Richard Murray. Most loving mother and mother-in-law of Margaret and Graeme, Tom and Marita. The best Nana of Rikki and Nick, Shaun and Bex, Anthony and Ellen, and Eden. Most awesome Nana to her 10 great-grandchildren, Amie, Jonny, Beau, Noah, Clyde, Harper, Jax, Leo, Saylor, and Van. Loving Aunty, cousin and friend to all who knew her.
