On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Ranui Home Alexandra; aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Hazel, much loved father and father-in-law of Andrew and Alison (USA), Susan and John Williams (Christchurch), Christine (Auckland), and Ruth (Glasgow), fond Grandad of Meghan and Cory, loved brother of Cecil Duff (Wellington). The family would like to thank sincerely all those who have helped with George’s care over the last 4 years. A service to celebrate George’s life will be held in St. Enoch’s Church, Centennial Avenue, Alexandra at 1.30pm on Thursday March 14, followed by a private cremation. Robyn passed away peacefully after a long illness in Christchurch. Loving mother and friend of Isaac. Sister and sister-in-law of Iain and Caroline, Graham, Blair and Helena. Fun loving Auntie “Rotten” to Fiona, Moira and Emma, Rosanna and Ben, and caring aunt to Chantelle. A good friend to many. A garden party celebration of Robyn’s life will be held at Hukuwai Cottage, 1 Hikuwai Dr, Albert Town, Wanaka, at 1.00pm, on Tuesday, March 12, followed by burial at the Wanaka Cemetery. Sunrise 22/10/35 Sunset 06/03/24. At Longwood rest home in her beloved Riverton with Karen by her side, mum grew her angel wings and went home. Much loved and proud matriarch of her family Doug and Suzi (Nelson), Murray and Megan, Joanne and Glenn Knipe, (Dunedin) Karen and Mackie Thompson. Loved grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
