Of Invercargill, passed peacefully with family in the care of Vickery Court on Thursday 6 June, 2024, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Cyril. Much loved Mum of Roger* and Jan, Marilyn and John Cromarty, Christine and Trevor Quested, Bryan and Gay, Karen and Neil Johnstone, Maree Gittus. Loved Grandma of her 16 grandchildren and loved “Grandma Grace” of her 22 great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of her siblings, and loved sister-in-law of Shirley Morehau. Loved aunt of her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Grace’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Tuesday 11 June at 1:30pm followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery. Grace will be resting at 54 Maitland Street, Invercargill until the service. In Loving Memory of Heather Gray 14.1.1962 – 6.6.2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Heather. She peacefully departed from this world on 6th June, surrounded by her loved ones at Southland Hospice. Heather will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and care for those she loved. Heather was the much-loved wife of Calder. Devoted mother and mother-in-law to Megan and Zak, Cameron and Kiri, Callum and Kate, and Rebekah. Hands-on Nana to Archie, Wilhelmina, Spencer, and the soon-to-be Baby Gray. The memorial service will be held on 19th June at 2 pm at Ascot Park Hotel. Peacefully on June 7,2024 at Gore Hospital, with his loving family by his side; aged 67 years. Dearly loved husband of Analyn, much loved father of Jason, Brooke, Siam, and Zayden, much loved brother of Cheryl Rawcliffe (nee Kelly, of Jacks Bay), and a loved uncle of Aaron, and Brendon. Cherished husband of the late Shirley, treasured father and father-in-law of Dirk and Anita Tuinman, Sonja and Geoff Lurijud, and, Amanda and Ronald Tuinman-Bell, much loved brother of Guusje, special Opa of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024, at Bupa Windsor Park Care Home, Gore: in her 95th year.
