CAMPBELL, Mike:
Suddenly in Kuwait, April 29, 2023, (ex Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment Lieutenant Y1002868 2/1 Battalion, Burnham, Returned Veteran). Much loved father of Eli, cherished and adored brother to Monique, much loved son of Judith and Alec, true and best friend to Ms Dona Al Najar and Mr Imad Hayat of Kuwait City. We give our very grateful thanks to Imad for his wonderful and unflagging support enabling Mike to be brought home. We give our grateful thanks to Mike’s friends and colleagues at “Inspire” in Kuwait City. Above all we thank Monique Campbell and Nathan Jones for their outstanding courage, commitment and perseverance travelling to Kuwait to bring Mike home. DALY, Murray John:
Peacefully, on May 4, 2023, in the care of Southland Hospital, aged 73 years. Having fought many battles, Murray has lost his last one. FAUL, Denise Margaret (nee Tattersfield):
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of a very special wife, mum, nana and great nana. Denise passed away peacefully on Thursday 4th May 2023 aged 91 years. She was a dearly loved wife of Murray and a much loved mother and mother in law of Pam and Robin Wilson, Narelle and the late Brett Pollock, Sheryl and John Leonard, Andrea and Jack Tither and Jennifer and Eugene Skerrett. A treasured nana and great nana of her eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. John passed away peacefully on 27 April 2023 at Longwood Care Home, Riverton, aged 94 years.
Dearly loved son of the late Jan and Josephine Vermeulen – Van Lierop and treasured brother and uncle of the Vermeulen family in the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. It is with broken hearts we advise that Noel passed away in Norway on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Marten, Anneke and AJ, Matt and Estee, Brogan, Devon, and Max would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped comfort us, sent cards, flowers, baked, provided meals, and attended the service following the passing of our adored Mother, Mother-in-law, and Oma.
