Passed away peacefully, at Southland Hospital, on Saturday 30 March 2024; aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late James (Jim). Much loved Mother and mother-in-law of Pam* and Graeme* Wohlers, Jill and Fred Field (Oamaru), Judy Brown, and Debbie and Mark (Lowwood, Australia). A much loved Grandmother and great Grandmother. CROWTHER, Russell John:
Peacefully after a long courageous battle, with family by his side, on Thursday 4th April 2024, in his 78th year. Dearly loved husband and loyal friend to Kaye. Loving and supportive father and father-in-law of the late Brandon, Jane and Grant Milne, Greg and Sharon, Kate and Chris McIlwick. Proud and caring poppy of Emily, Harrison, Mackenzie, Brandon, Abbey, Caitlyn, Bailey, Mason, Jamie, Jessie Mae. Son of the late Brandon (Bill) and the late Mavis. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Bruce and Deborah, Barbara and Gerry, Peter and Olwyn Bailey, the late Barry. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Loyal cobber to many. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Peter who passed away peacefully on the 30th March 2024 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 89. He was the cherished husband of Laureen, and a devoted father and father-in-law to Lisa and David (Australia), Michelle and Peter (England), Trina and Todd (USA), Andrew and Letitia (Stewart Island). Much loved grandfather to Alex, Sebastian, Ethan, Luke, Bella, and Ryan. Peter was also a beloved brother and brother-in-law to Warwick and Keiko, Wendy and Don, and Carol and Michael* Hardy. Peter will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff from Southland Hospital and Southland Hospice who cared for Peter.
