HOSIE, Fergus McLean:
26-10-1969 – 3-5-2023. We lost Fergus 3 months ago – we would like to sincerely thank everyone for their kindness and support over the nearly 10 extra months that we had together. For all who visited, face-timed, texted, and called during those months, these were precious conversations. We know that Ferg appreciated them all. We would especially like to thank Donna from Avenal Park for your compassion and insight when Ferg was planning his funeral and ensuring all of his wishes were achieved. To Sharon Payne for your patience when Ferg was recalling his timeline and laughing with us and crying with us. For the beautiful service, it was everything that Ferg wished for. Professor Rob Walker for the 30+ years of looking after Ferg, your friendship with the extended family is appreciated. To Hospice Southland and District Nursing – the care you took of Ferg in his remaining months was outstanding and so appreciated by the family, to have you all laugh when Ferg was giving everyone nicknames. The unwavering support during the last few days will be forever appreciated. Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement of love and appreciation from us all. Much love, Delwyn, Campbell, Aiden, Amy Robertson and Ezri Dalgity.
