Tracey, you and your team looked after Phil for 6 months. We are so very grateful for everything you did for Phil and allowing us to come and go as often as we wished. Hospice Southland and team thank you for the care you provided. Phil also enjoyed the arts, crafts, and baking days which led to being a huge highlight of his week. To Sue Pearce, thank you for your ongoing care of Phil. Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement as many addresses are unknown.

SKUDDER, Arthur:
On behalf of Kirsty, Ollie, and both Kirsty and Arthur’s immediate families we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the extremely kind and generous love, care, and on-going support we have all received with the sudden and unexpected loss of Arthur. Thank you to Dr Robert Bester (Bester and McKay Family Doctors), the staff working in the Emergency Dept and Medical Wards at Southland Hospital, the St John Ambulance crew, and the amazing group of District Nurses for the care and compassion shown to Arthur particularly towards the end, it didn’t go unnoticed. Rachael Crothers, Nicky King and the team at J Fraser & Sons thank you for taking such good care of ‘our Arthur’ and preparing him and us for his final journey. Lynley McKerrow the service you delivered perfectly captured the essence of who Arthur was and what he meant to us all. To our Friends, Family, Work Families and Arthur’s Clients both past and present, Salford School, thank you so much for the text messages, phone calls, cards, flowers, groceries, baking, food hampers, meals, roses, visits, and to those who were able to make or watch his services on the day. Arthur loved people and he would’ve been very humbled by it all. To our SBHS Football family, the SBHS PTA and the SBHS Management and Staff, thank you for all your generosity, care, presence and support. It has been much appreciated. Lastly from Kirsty and Ollie, to our Family, Friends and Neighbours the words Thank You don’t seem nearly big enough to repay the unconditional love and support we have received along every step of this journey. When we weren’t able to think you were just there, and often took the mental load, when we were a revolving door of people arriving to pay their respects, or preparing to take Arthur home to be laid to rest in Auckland you made sure we were ready, and when the reality and overwhelm of what a life without Arthur at home looked like, you all got stuck in outside and gave us the best possible gift on helping make the start of that transition a whole lot easier. We will forever be grateful. Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement from us all
