26.8.1944 – 29.7.2024. Passed peacefully surrounded by family. Of Winton. Died suddenly on 29 July 2024, age 69. Beloved husband of Ronelle. Adored and respected father and grandfather of Erin Waldron, Alex Van Eck, Blair McLean, Candice Van Eck, Samantha Dickey; Riley Van Eck, Benjamin Waldron, Meike McLean, Taylar Maw. Loved by “his wider family”. A service to celebrate Reece’s life will be held in Invercargill Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Wednesday 7 August, 2024 at 1:30pm followed by private interment. Maurice, Robert Murdoch (Silver Fox):
It is with sadness the Murdoch family announce the sad passing of Maurice in his little hut at Tuatapere. Son of the late Albert and Dora Murdoch. NORMAN, Colleen Anne (née Young):
We sadly announce the sudden passing of Colleen, aged 71 years, on Thursday 1st August 2024 after a courageous battle following illness at Southland Hospital, Invercargill. Beloved wife of Forrester Norman. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Christopher & Christy, Matthew, Philip & Eve, Margot, and Alison & Craig. Loving grandmother (Nana) to Tilly, Jonty, Indiana, and Madison. Her siblings and in-laws will deeply miss her: Danny & Ann Young, Margaret & Bernie Brown, Bruce & Rosemary Young, and Ashley Norman. She was a treasured aunt to her nephews and nieces Antoinette, Paul, Louise, Dominic, Luke, Hannah, Laura, Amy, Olivia, and Tere.
She had many special friendships through nursing, the Catholic Church, and school, and was loved by all.
