BATEMAN, Janine Lillian (nee Kingan):
Passed away after a two-year battle with cancer with her loving husband by her side. Dearly loved wife of Rob, much loved mother of sons Jerome, and Caleb. Adored grandma of Travis, and Catalaya. BRUHNS, Margaret:
(formerly of Gore and Dunedin). On Saturday, March 23, 2024, aged 71 years. Eldest daughter of the late Alice and Jack Bruhns. Wonderful and loving sister and sister-in-law of the late Joy Turnbull, the late Anne and Andy (Gore), Adrienne and the late Colin (Levin), Julie and Bryan Turnbull (Christchurch). CROOT, Mavoura Rose (formerly Thomson) (nee Dillon):
Surrounded with love, Mavoura passed peacefully away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Dearly loved and loving wife of Brian and the late Ian Thomson. Dearly loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Chris and Viva, Ron and Diana, Dianne and the late Lindsay, and Tony. Dearly loved Nan and Nanny Toot of Michelle and Shannon, Angela Thomson; Heath and Andrea Thomson; The late Brian, Daniel and Ashlee Keith Loved and loving Great Nan and Nanny Toot of Chloe, Hunter and Cooper Thomson, Jack and Oliver Keith. Loved youngest daughter of Thomas and Sarah Dillon and the extended Dillon family. Loved family member of the Thomson family. Dearly loved sister-in-law of the Croot family. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care given to Mavoura by the staff at Clare House. GRANT, Pamela:
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pam, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in her 89th year, after a short illness, with her family by her side. Loved wife of John (deceased), loved mother and mother-in-law of Craig and Katrina, Bruce and Waereti, Steven and Barbara, and Fiona (dec). Loved mother-in-law of Eddie Paurini. Beloved Nana of Samantha, Shaun, Katie, Cullen, Chris, Dean and Morgan. A cherished friend to many. A special thank you to Anna for the support and guidance provided. Thank you to the nursing staff at Nelson Hospital for their care and support. Passed away suddenly, on Thursday, March 28, 2024; aged 59 years. Much loved son of Alex and *Lorna King. NEILSON, Hugh Arthur James:
Passed away at Southland Hospital on Wednesday, 27th March 2024, born 3 May 1932 at Waimahaka. Now I am back with my father Scottie* (Hugh) and Flora* McKinnon Sturgess at the Riverton Cemetery. Let me have my wish – No Flowers, cards or visits, I have moved on. Thanks to my sister Mary and my cousins and family. Thank you to all the staff that helped me at Southland Hospital. Peacefully at his daughter’s residence on Tuesday 26th March 2024, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loved father of Raewyn Stewart and Paul Sutton, Lyndon and Sophie Marsh (Brisbane). Loved Dada of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ray was a loved brother, brother in law and uncle. Graham, Diane, Neville, Colin, and their families would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended Isobel’s funeral service, especially those who travelled some distance to be there.
