Peacefully on 23rd December,2023, at Kew Hospital; aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Dawn, much loved father and father-in-law of Cheryl and Sean, David and Carolyn, cherished Grandad of Ellie, Josh, and Sam. Loved brother, brother-in-law, and respected Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service of farewell for Buckles will be held in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha on Thursday 4th January,2024 at 1.30pm, then leaving for the Port Molyneux cemetery, Kaka Point. Unexpectedly on Tuesday December 26th, 2023, at Gore. Loved and loving husband of Trish. Loving Dad of the late Shannon, Rachael, and Sheryl. A private family service will be held at the Southland Crematorium at 11am followed by a memorial service for Grover. FAHEY, Peter Thomas:
Late, of Gorge Road and more recently of Calvary, Invercargill. Called home to God on 27 December 2023 surrounded by family and much love. Devoted husband of the late Maureen; dearest dad and father-in-law of Bernadette and Peter Campbell, Leo, Brendon and Heather, Douglas and Belinda, Terry, and Shaun; treasured Pop to his 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; beloved brother and brother-in-law of the late Bill and Maureen Fahey; Tony Fahey and special brother-in-law of Kathleen Fahey and Vera Shirley; caring uncle to his nieces and nephews; and respected friend of many.

HEATH, Lesley Joan:
01.08.1956 – 28.12.2023. Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland on Thursday 28 December 2023; in her 68th year. Dearly loved daughter of the late Nancy and Ray. Loved twin sister of Gwen Eberl, loved sister and sister-in-law of Denise, Kevin, and Mary and Paul Thwaites. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. McKENZIE, Avice:
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home in Invercargill on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ross. RITCHIE, William Raymond (Ray):
Ray passed away peacefully on 25th December,2023 at Clutha Views; aged 83 years. Loved husband of Jenny, father of Paul, and Brenda, and a much loved grandfather of Jenna, and Katie. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha on Wednesday 3rd January at 1:30pm, followed by a private cremation. TE AU, Martin:
Martin Springford aka Uncle Marty, Big Matua, McMarty, Mart, 75 years of a life well lived. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Uncle Marty on Saturday the 23rd of December 2023 in Christchurch Hospital. A very much loved son of the late James and Piki Te Au, treasured brother and brother in law of Winsome and Michael Skerrett (Invercargill), Paka and Angus Te Au (Bellblock, New Plymouth), Eddie and Rikki Te Au Gore, Ora and Ken Barron and Marcia and Thom Thomson (Invercargill). Also a much loved brother of our heavenly brothers and sisters, Neville, Paul, Karen, Tania and Kerry. A very much loved uncle and grand uncle to his many nieces and nephews. A very much loved Mart of his lifelong friend Louise Shannahan. We wish to acknowledge with love and respect Mandy and Steve from their (Big Matua), and Preston from his McMarty.
