Christine passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning, 23rd March 2025, at Hospice Southland. Dearly loved wife of Dudley. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Stuart, Paula, Karen, and Teresa, and their partners. Treasured Grandma to all her grandchildren. Deeply loved sister and friend to many. ARMSTRONG, Dian Betty:
It is with deep sadness we wish to share the sudden but peaceful passing of Dian Armstrong, on March 24, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Ian Armstrong, loving mother and mother-in-law of Keri and Brent Collinson (Winton), Tracy and Paul Reed (Kaiapoi), and Jo and Mark Dickson (Ashburton). Cherished grandmother of Brayden Dickson and Amanda, Joel and Jessica Reed, Sarah Dickson and Mitch, Joshua Grey, Izaac Reed and Chantal, and Karson. Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Geoff and Emiko, Colvin, and aunty of Anna, John and Karl Colvin (Christchurch). Unexpectedly passed away, doing something he loved, on Wednesday 26th March 2025, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Robin for 46 years. It is with much sadness and after a brief illness, Cam passed away on Saturday 22 March 2025, at Southland Hospital in the presence of his family. Loved husband of Ruth. Beloved husband of the late Anita (Iremonger). Treasured and loved Dad to Bronwyn & Gordon Carran (Invercargill), Susan & Andy Pennington (Texas, USA) and the late Darren Hawes. Much loved Grandad Cam to Annaleise, Ryan, Alexandra, Avery, Harrison. Friend and Stepdad to Michael and Angela Matheson, Julie and Graeme Irvine, and their families. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the CCU and Medical Unit at Southland Hospital for their care of Cam. THOMPSON, Patricia Eileen (Pat, nee Wiley):
Of Owaka Valley. Passed away peacefully at Clutha Health First, after a brief illness on Tuesday, March 25, 2025; in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Kevin (Thomo), loved and loving mother, mother-in-law, and Nana Pat of Keryn & Jack Mason (Waimahaka), Bradley and Caitlyn; Daniel and Courtney, McKenzie and Riley; Alan and Pam (Owaka Valley), Mark, Kooper, Terrie and Lucus; Gary and Hannah, Kyle and Amanda. The family would like to thank Pat’s Access Support workers, the staff of Ward 8 at Dunedin Hospital, and staff at Clutha Health First for their care of Pat.
