After a short battle with cancer, at Resthaven Gore, on Wednesday December 25, 2024. Loved daughter of George* and Margaret* Annison, loved sister of Anne* Scurr, loved aunt of Margaret and Ronald* Ashby, Frank and Patsy Scurr, Rosemary Scurr, David and Lindor Scurr, loved Great Aunt and Great-great Aunt. A service for Lin will be held at the Knapdale Hall, on Monday December 30, at 2.00pm. Followed by a private cremation. Donations would be gratefully received and may be left at the service for the Riversdale First Response and Hokonui St John Ambulance. Of Invercargill. Passed peacefully on Sunday 22 December 2024, aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Trish. Loved father of Nikki, and Michael. With sadness we announce the passing of Bruce on Thursday 26th December 2024, with his family by his side. Aged 64 years. LEWIS, Owen Russell:
Sadly, Owen passed away peacefully on Boxing Day after a short illness surrounded by his loving family. Loved husband of Doreen, Dad and Pop of Nichola & Tony, Kylie & Terry, Jacqui & Simon, Ella, Matthew and Pyper. Owen will be deeply missed by all who knew him. LINDSAY, Elaine Frances:
Peacefully passed away at Southland Hospital on Friday, 27 December 2024, aged 82 years. Wife of the late Russell. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen and Stephen, Annie and Darren. Loved Laine of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Adored daughter of Bert and Frances* Sinclair. Eldest sister of David, Eric, and Russell and their families. The family would like to thank Vickery Court for their care of Elaine, and a big thank you to all the staff that cared for Elaine at Southland Hospital. The mahon and baty families would like to thank everyone for their care and support with letters, emails, phone calls, cards and visits from so many people, it was a comfort at this time. As some addresses are unknown, please accept this as a personal thank you from us all. Thank you to marie and raewyn at aurora, your compassion and professionalism was steadying in our time of grief, and jude, for your address to dad on behalf of our families. Thank you to those who formed a guard of honour for dad at the rsa. At rest with mum, where he wanted to be.
MATEROA, Anthony Hone Pihama (Tony):
Sadly, and unexpectedly passed away at home on Monday 23rd December 2024, two weeks after his 69 th birthday. Treasured dad of Belinda, Toni Renee, Juanita, Jaymely, Shaianne, Moneek, Calib and Ra. Devoted grandad and great grandad of his mokopuna. Dearly loved brother of Mon & Hen and his other nine brothers and sisters. A cherished uncle, great uncle and mate of many. Special friend of Glenda, Mandy, Janet and her family, Shannon, Brodie, Huntar, Chayse, and Charnse. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Tony will be resting at home, 3/276 Nelson Street, Invercargill until his service at the Southland Crematorium on Monday 30th December 2024 at 2.00pm.

Died peacefully at Iona Enliven Care Home, Oamaru on Sunday, December 22, 2024 in her 96th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Noel Campbell and the late Les Simpson, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Noeline and Findlay Collie (Invercargill), Judith and Andrew Souness (Christchurch) and David and Dianne (Invercargill), loved Grandma of Bevan, Mark, Kathryn, Anna, Rachel, Emily, Richard, Monique and Ashleigh and Granny Joan of her 11 great-grandchildren. Passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson in her 94th year, on Tuesday 24th December 2024 Dearly loved wife of the late Ivan. Loved sister and sister in law of Charles* and Joan* Trusler, Janet* and Don Baird, and Jim* Trusler, Eunice* and Rex* Edgerton, Nathan* and Elaine* West, Ailsa* and Gordon* Malcolm, Florence and Garnett* West, Des* and Pam West, and Maivie* West. A much loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews.
