BLACKLER, Benjamin:
Our dearest beautiful Ben passed tragically on April 24, 2024, aged 53 years; Beloved father to Amy and Jimmy Blackler. Younger son of Karen (Arrowtown) and the late Paul Blackler (Canterbury), brother of Sam and brother-in-law of Sejal Blackler, adored uncle to Kaya and Arya. Much loved by Kerry Brownsey and her family and Kylee Herbert and her girls. Our hearts are broken. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://www.lifeflight.org.nz/. A service will be held in Cornwall Manor, cnr Knights Road & Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.

CLAYDEN, Reginald Dennis (Dennis):
Peacefully on Wednesday, 24th April 2024 at Southland Hospital, Invercargill, aged 95. Much loved husband of Helen May Clayden (deceased) and loved partner of Norma Ann Laking (deceased). Cherished father and father-in-law of Andrew and Linda Gunn (Invercargill), a loved grandfather, and a special uncle to Mary, and Jackson (Totara Park). A loved brother, brother-in-law, and uncle to his family in the UK. Special thanks to the carers and staff at BUPA Ascot Care Home, Invercargill who became part of Dennis’ family over several years. Peacefully on April 23, 2024, at Dunedin Public Hospital; aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband, and farming workmate for 62 years of Alma, loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Philippa, and the late William. Loving Grandad of Nikita and William, Claire, Jessie, and a special friend of Cameron, and Liam. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 8 at Dunedin Public Hospital for their care of John. A Service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2024, at 1:30pm in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, then leaving for Balclutha Lawn Cemetery. PATON, Andrew:
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 24 April 2024, aged 86. Loved father of Jeanette and father in law of David Hiroki. Loved Papa of Kimberley and Sharn Coote, Isabella, and Shanai. Loved Great Papa of Charlie, Moana and Reihana. Loved by his family in Scotland. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Leonard and Maria, Nola and Barry Wingate, Mary and David Petersen, Frank and the late Pat, Denise, Kathy and John Swale, Bryan and Raylene, the late Edward, and Elizabeth and Jeff Trumpeter. Adored grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
