Peacefully at Ranui Home on February 21, 2025; Aged 81 years. Loving husband of Jenny, Loved father of Peter, Elyse and Andrea. Loved grandad and Ga-Ga of Tom, Briar, Katelyn, and Roy; Ella and Phoebe; Joshua, Emily and Charlotte and great-grandad of Ori. Thank you to the staff of Ranui for their wonderful care of Melvin and those who visited during his time there. At Mel's request a private service has been held. LEASK, Wynnis Ann (nee Townson):
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Southland on Monday 17 February 2025; aged 83. Dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Michelle and Jeff, Mike and Jackie, Tony and Gurv, Brendon, and Sandra and Tom. Much loved nana and great nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Treasured little sister of Betty Marshall, and Lindsay* Townson. A loved aunty to her many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at Hospice Southland for their exceptional care of our mum. At Vickery Court, Pop passed away peacefully, a day prior to his 93rd birthday. Loved husband of Heather. Much loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Sheree, Grant, Jan and Wally. Treasured grandfather of Quinn and Stacey, Lauren and Paul, Caine and Becky, Cam and Christina, Ashleigh and Alan, Tom and Zarah, Lucy and Henry, and great-grandfather of Zac, and Ivy, Mackenzie, and Eddie, Hazel, George, and Walter. We have greatly appreciated the care and kindness shown to Dad by the staff at Vickery Court. Dad's wishes were for no fuss, a private cremation has been held. SHUTTLEWORTH, Carol:
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 15, 2025. In her 79th year. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Allan. Mum has left to join Dad and “the boys” after a long and courageous illness. Much loved mother of Riki and Anne Shuttleworth, Juli and Dave Marshall, Terry and Carole Shuttleworth and a loved Nana of all her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
