2.7.1940 -21.8.2023 George, Janette, Daphne, Bronwyn, Louise, Megan, Geoff and Vaughan and their families would like to express our sincere thanks to the many people who offered their condolences at the time of Heather’s death. Thankyou for the cards, flowers, phone calls and messages; to those who attended the funeral service, and to those who spoke on behalf of the organisations which Heather had been part of. Of Waikawa, peacefully at Invercargill Hospital on October 18, 2023. A proud southern man, part of an amazing community. A simple burial has taken place as per his wishes. Father of Janine, Grandfather of Jade and Tahlia, and a friend of many special locals.

CLARK, Joan:
Of Clyde, formerly of Southland. Passed away peacefully at Ranui Rest Home, Alexandra, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, aged 86. Dearly loved wife of John*. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Geoffrey and Rachel (Brisbane), Janette (Istanbul), and Richard* and Fiona*. Dearly loved Grandmother of Flynn and Oscar; and Carley and Josh. Sister and sister-in-law of David and Betty (Wanaka), Dorothy* and Ron (Gore). A service for Joan will be held in Affinity Funeral Home, 143A Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, on Wednesday, October 25, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. Treasured Grandad Knowler of Oliver and Adam, Giles, Cara and Grady, Bert and Justine, Monique and Tom, Callum and Laurel, Meg and Jonny, Giam, Kevas and Chris, Nikira, Alice, Henry. Glenda unexpectedly passed away on October 1, 2023, aged 56 years. Dearly loved youngest daughter of the late Irene and John Logie.
