It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John, peacefully at Hospice South Canterbury on July 14, 2024, after a short illness; aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jill. Much loved father of Stacey, and Cameron. Loved brother and brother in law of Geoff (dec), Neville (Boldey) and Roena (Nightcaps), Linda Kapa (Christchurch), Ray (Smoke) and Jan (Invercargill), Rodney and Judy (Ashburton), Tony and Joanne (Invercargill), Gordon and Tess (Brisbane). A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews in New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Australia. A special friend of Catherine Paterson and family. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter (Rolleston), Barry and Julie (Waikaka Valley), Linda and Peter Rhodes (Timaru), much loved Grandma of Fiona and William Leith, Nicola and Ashley Muir, Lisa and Roy Gibson; Michael and Ayumi, Bevan and Joy Rhodes. Of Wanaka. Passed away peacefully in company of her loved ones on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Ripponburn.
