It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John, peacefully at Hospice South Canterbury on July 14, 2024, after a short illness; aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jill. Much loved father of Stacey, and Cameron. Loved brother and brother in law of Geoff (dec), Neville (Boldey) and Roena (Nightcaps), Linda Kapa (Christchurch), Ray (Smoke) and Jan (Invercargill), Rodney and Judy (Ashburton), Tony and Joanne (Invercargill), Gordon and Tess (Brisbane). A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews in New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Australia. A special friend of Catherine Paterson and family. (Formerly of Waikaka Valley and Gilbert Street Gore) Peacefully slipped away at Parata Rest home, Gore on Thursday July 18, 2024, aged 90 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Bill for 68 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter (Rolleston), Barry and Julie (Waikaka Valley), Linda and Peter Rhodes (Timaru), much loved Grandma of Fiona and William Leith, Nicola and Ashley Muir, Lisa and Roy Gibson; Michael and Ayumi, Bevan and Joy Rhodes. Special Great Grandma of Charlotte, Emma, Max, Taylor, Isaac, Emilia and James. Of Wanaka. Passed away peacefully in company of her loved ones on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Ripponburn. Dearly loved wife of Bill for 59 years, adored mum and mother-in-law of Vivienne (dec), Shona and Kerry (Southbridge), Lyall and Toni (Luggate). (The mad plumber and Irishman). On July 17, 2024. With very heavy hearts, Sean passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his soulmate and wife Bernie, aged 60. MACKAY, Joanne:
We, the family of the late Joanne (Joan) Teresa Mary Devon, wish to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support as we said our farewells and laid mum to rest.
