Peacefully at Southland Hospital, Invercargill on Wednesday May 29, 2024. In her 80th year. Devoted wife of Allen for 53 years, and much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Pete Wilson. Loving and proud Nana of Emma, Ella and Chez. A loved sister and sister-in-law of Melva* and Bob Rogers, Alister and Marg* McLean, Margaret McDermott, Joyce and Murray Turner. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. The family are very grateful to the staff of Southland Hospital for their care and compassion to Alwyn. A service to celebrate Alwyn’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, at 11am, on Tuesday June 4. Followed by a private interment at the East Winton Cemetery. COOK, Terry Wynter (Cookie):
Peacefully on Monday 27 May 2024. Dearly loved son of Lee and stepson of Laurie, loved brother from another mother to John, and his sister, loved uncle of Leevi, Dylan, and Ruby, and a dear friend of his extended Fire Fighting Family and Navy mates.

DR SARFATI, David:
Sadly, David tragically passed away while having a good time on Thursday 30 May 2024 aged 90 years young. David was the deeply loved husband and best friend of Jenny for 60 years. Adored Dad and father-in-law of Jonathan and Sherry, Peter, Michael and Brenda, and Richard. Cherished Grandpop of Theo; Sarah, Amy and David, Stephen, and Grace and precious great-granddaughter, Calypso. Loving brother-in-law of Patti Auld and family. David was living the dream and will be deeply missed by all. The family thank the staff from Rowena Jackson for providing the happy environment that David enjoyed and they express their grateful thanks to the Surgical staff at Southland Hospital for their wonderful care of David. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Wednesday 5th June at 1.30pm in J Fraser & Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk & Doon Streets, Invercargill followed by a private cremation. After a long and courageous battle, Rachel passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday 30th May, aged 41 years. Dearly loved wife of Craig, treasured Mum of Ava and Lila. Adored and cherished daughter of Barry and Marian Allan and sister, sister-in-law and Aunty of Carly, Andrew, Stella, Sienna and Harper. Dearly loved daughter-in-law, sister in law and Aunty of Donna and Ronnie McDougall, Ranee, Sam, Lucia and Quinn.
