Iain died suddenly as a result of a medical event at Haast on Tuesday 14th November 2023, aged 56 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Kathryn. Proud dad of Sam, Ben, Luke, and Joel. A service to celebrate Iain’s life will be held at 1.00pm on Wednesday 22nd November at The Hideaway 201, Branxholme Road, Winton followed by a private cremation. ROY, Colin Jeffrey:
Lila, Carla and Jono, Marcus and Meghan, Brendon and families wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone for their love, kindness, and incredible support prior to, and after the loss of our much loved Colin. We all felt immense support from the many visits, phone calls, beautiful flowers, heart felt cards, amazing meals and baking. Grateful and sincere thanks, to all who supported us by attending the service to celebrate Colin’s life, or taking time to watch the live stream. Special thanks to Haidee and the Hospice Southland team, the Fiordland Medical Centre Doctors, and our District Nurses Bernie and Leigh, for their exceptional care and support, enabling us to keep Colin, at home, amongst his beloved family and favourite mountains. We wish to acknowledge the input and help of the Fiordland College staff, for their incredible efforts with the practical help for Colin’s service. The kindness and thoughtfulness we have received will never be forgotten.
