Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Otago Community Hospice on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Bill (William) Crosbie. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Pamela Crosbie (Perth), Michael and Trudy Crosbie (Perth), and Jason and Cindy Crosbie (Mosgiel). Loved Nanna of Mathew, Alice, Ashley, Josh, Lachlan, Makayla, Maddison, and Hayley. Loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Judy Buchanan, and Jocelyn (nee Buchanan) and Eddie Ellen. Alan went to fly with the waterfowl on Friday, August 16, 2024 after a long tussle with illness. Dearly loved partner of Jenny, loved former husband of Helena; dearly loved father and father-in-law of Natasha and Simon, Damien, Vanessa and Harry, and Milly; loved grandfather of Oliver and Emily, Kaleb, Hunter, Penelope and Oscar, Eve and Stella. Loved oldest son of Mildred and Bob, and loved brother of Neil, Colin*, Owen*, Ian, Brian (Barney)*, Ross*, Neville, Dale and Blair. Renowned owner of many legendary naughty dogs, friend of many, mentor to young hunters and scallywags far and wide. Wynston, Nigel, Mia, Ian, Toni and family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone for the support given following the recent passing of Wynette. We were deeply humbled by the wonderful and generous people who have sent food, flowers, cards, messages and the visits we received, it was greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Gore hospital, Chris and the team at Mercy hospital for your care and compassion given to Wynette. Thank you to our celebrant Sharyne Payne, and Raewyn from Aurora funeral services for guiding us through this journey, also Kevin Smith, Colleen Fenton, Christine Cleland, and Rosemary Cowley for your tributes at Wynette’s service. Thank you to all who attended the service, travelled long distance to be there for our family.

Athole passed on 29th July 2024 after a courageous fight at Southland Hospital with her daughter Jacqueline by her side. STEWART, Emilia, Jasmine:
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Emilia Jasmine Stewart, aged 7 years, who tragically passed away on August 13, 2024, following an accident. Emilia is survived by parents Paul and Rebecca and sister Charlotte and a large extended family who loved her dearly. Though her time with us was brief Emilia brought immense joy and love into the lives of all who knew her. A funeral service for Emilia will be held on Saturday August 24, at 10.30am in the Calvin Community Church, 25 Roberston Street, Gore. Please wear bright colours. The family kindly request in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Emilia’s memory to Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter Trust. Emilia loved painting stones so these would also make a fitting tribute. We give thanks to the wonderful staff at Dunedin hospital who took great care of Emilia, especially the staff in the Southern Critical Care Unit. Our hearts are heavy with grief, but we find comfort in the beautiful memories we shared. Rest In Peace, sweet Emilia. You will forever be in our hearts.
