Passed away peacefully at Ripponburn Home, Cromwell, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, aged 83 years. Andy grew up and returned to Tarras after living in Cairns for 30 years. He is survived by his children; Lauren, Greg, 3 grandchildren, and his 3 siblings; PL (Peter) Anderson, Kate Anderson, Spin Lucas, and his nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Andy will be held at Central Otago Funerals, 5 McNulty Road, Cromwell, on Wednesday, November 20, at 2.00pm. Messages to 37/1 Adelaide Road, Mount Cook, Wellington 6021.
BROAD, Robyn Marie:
2nd October 1959 - 13th November 2024 (aged 65)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robyn Marie Broad. Cherished daughter of Sonny and Lesley*, adored sister of Brian*, Lynette*, and Graham*. Robyn was a dearly loved niece and cousin to the Broad and Morland families and aunt to Angela and Matt, Timothy and Eliana, Bridgette and Tom. Robyn was also a very treasured great-aunt to all her great-nieces and nephews. Robyn brought love, warmth, and kindness to all who knew her. She will be remembered with love and missed beyond measure. It is with an enormous amount of gratitude we extend thanks to her caregivers at Bainfield Park and Calvary. We also extend a special and heartfelt acknowledgment to the Ineson family for their endless support. A private service to celebrate and honour Robyn’s life has been held. LAWRENCE, Andrew:
On Sunday, November 10, 2024, Athol passed away peacefully; aged 102 years. Dearly loved husband of Shirley*; brother and brother-in-law of Keith* & Kay* (UK), Owen* & Helen*, Joan* & Emil* (USA); uncle to many nephews and nieces and their spouses including Barry* & Pauline, David & Donna, Joanne & Andrew, Geoff (UK) & Mark (Germany) & Carl (USA). The family would like to thank all the carers and staff from Health NZ; Arrowtown Lifestyle Village; Wakatipu Care Centre; and lately Queenstown Country Club Care Centre. Peacefully, in the care of Maniototo Hospital and Rest Home, Ranfurly, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, aged 83 years. Much loved Dad of Suzanne (Ireland), and Brent (Naseby), loved Grandad of India, Xavier, and Pixie (all of Ireland), loved brother and brother-in-law of Alan and Lorraine (Motueka), loved Uncle of Karen, Lee, and Fay. MORRIS, Mervyn:
Died peacefully on November 12, 2024, with his wife Yvonne and her family at his side. Loved husband of Yvonne and the late Kath. He was the dearly loved son of the late Tim and Rose Morris (Kaiwera, Gore and Timaru); a loved brother of the late Marjorie, the late George, the late Colin and the late John (Jack). He was also a loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews and a respected member of the Pullar family of Pukerau. The funeral service is This Day (Saturday), 16th November, at 11.00am at Hope Presbyterian Church, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby. Private cremation.
