On February 12, as the result of a tragic accident. Dearly loved and devoted Dad of William and Ashlyn. Adored partner of Penny. Loved son of Ross (Cromwell) and Christine Flynn (Winton), brother and brother-in-law of Craig and Ali (Cromwell) and Anna and Andy Robson (Christchurch). Special uncle of Harriet and Eliza Flynn and Harry and Olivia.
Missed terribly and always in our hearts.

RICHARDSON, Alfred Neil (Neil):
Passed away peacefully on 8 January,2025 at Hastings Hospital. Dearly loved father and father-in- law of Craig, Dione and Nick, and Bruce, loved grandfather of Caleb, Jessica, Paige, Naomi, Taine, Devlin, Kayden, and Carter, and a loved great grandfather. Much loved son of Doug* and Winifred* Richardson, loved brother of Tom and Loretta, Rex* and Lenore, Sue and Martin*, Robert, Tony, Chris and Carol, Sonja and Tony, a loved uncle and a dearly loved special friend of Jill. A graveside service will be held to inter Neil’s ashes at the Charlton Park Cemetery, Gore at 1pm on Sunday 16 February. (*denotes deceased)

SHIEFFELBEIN, Wayne Mark:
After a courageous battle over many years, Wayne passed away under the care of the lovely staff at Southand Hospital and surrounded by his family on Tuesday, 28th January 2025.  Aged 62 years. Dearly loved husband of Linda and specially loved father and father-in-law of Anna & Damian McKay (Invercargill) and Fran & Raf O’Neale (London).

Much loved Poppa of Keilani, Brylee & Eden McKay and Brody O’Neale. Your “little squirts” in this lifetime and the next. Loved best friend & brother and brother-in-law of Richard & Karen Shieffelbein, loved Uncle of Jason (Oamaru). Respected Brother of Derek & Carolynn (Napier). Valda, Amanda, Leah and families would like to sincerely thank everyone for their love and support after Allan’s passing. To those who sent cards, messages, flowers and food, our thanks and appreciation. To Allan’s friends at the IWMC who rallied and supported him on his last visit to the club we are forever grateful.
