Loved father and father-in-law of Jennifer and Robert Bartlett (Well) Iain and Helen (Oamaru) the late Sharon and Ralph Allan (Dunedin) Michael and Megan (In’gill) and Lisa and Scott Harris (In’gill) A dearly loved grandfather of all his 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Morven and the late Sydney Munro, and Raylene Wishart. Loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. COMPTON, Bertram Alexander John:
Bert passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023, at home, surrounded by his wife and children; aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Angela for 54 years. Loved father of Debbie and Lyall (Sam), and much loved Grandad of Travis and Jaden. Loved Uncle of Kirsten and Andrew, and cherished brother-in-law and cousin. Eldest son of the late William Aitken Compton and Ella Amelia Mary Compton (Moore).

Rob and family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support following the passing of Barbara. LANGE, Judy (Judith Margaret):
February 2, 2023, at Hospice Southland. Judy died of ovarian cancer with total dignity, poise and grace. Loved wife of Geoff, mother and mother-in-law of Kathryn and Serge, Chris and Michelle. Devoted Nana of Mischa, Fergus, Eddie, Vanya, Sasha and Katya. The Lange family extend our sincere thanks for the respect, love and extraordinary care given to us by our friends, extended family and the many medical professionals we have come into contact with. Judy has been faultlessly cared for by so many talented and thoughtful people over the last 6 years, but in particular, for Judy’s final few days, she had the good fortune to have been looked after by the outstanding Southland Hospice team. Thank you all, for your skillset and empathy. We are in awe of what you do and will be forever grateful. A farewell celebration for Judy’s life will be held at 2.00pm on Friday, February 17, at J. Fraser and Sons, Esk Street, Invercargill. Please ensure you are Covid free before attending.

Sadly our beautiful baby boy was born sleeping on Friday 10 February 2023.
